Well this is the first official "Ollie Q and the Deep Six" cd. Our 7 song demo production.

It was created approximately 1 year ago, hopefully now we will increase our production speed to allow for at least two releases per year.

Well, its Jan 17th, Monday, and we got some bathroom tracks, in the old MP3 64kps format. Not sure but, is it me or does my mp3 convertor suck? at least as much as my grammer.

These MP3s may only be here temperarily so the other guys from the band can download them, we figure a sort preview?

So these are the sounds one makes on a the long walk to a complete album. Test tracks or harmonic experiments is doesn't matter what you call it, just remember what Ollie always says "Nothings final until its vinyl!".

- Sound bouncing between four walls
Here are the latest sounds from the practice room, organic musical ideas, and a lot of missed notes. These tracks go out to Peter from the guestbook, something to listen too, no overdubs, no punch ins, and no autotune. When we record we record live and no other way. A microphone, a compressor if there is one laying around and nothing else. We are definetly not afraid to embarass ourselves. No concept here just pure enjoyment of making music together.

Historical value
Here is a list of other albums where you can hear us play on, our current style is still Ska and Jazz however it is quite different from what you hear on these albums, but still worth the listen. As you know most of the members have spent the years between 2001 to 2004 playing as the Rotterdam Ska Jazz Foundation, hence the major works produced by us in these years are also in the RSJF catalogus.
