Well coming back from summer vacation we have just picked up our first pressing of the new CD. We are currently looking for a place in Rotterdam to schedule a release party so that we can present it to you. After which we will then head directly back into the studio for the next CD with our new bassist.
This month we have a few gigs, one in Eibergen and one in Jena, Germany, other than that check back soon as we start setting up some shows for the fall.

Well, big things are happening, in September 2007, we start recording our next LP, our other LP has been completed (mixed and mastered). We are looking into get it pressed for release as well in September 2007. So get ready for you musical fix with Ollie Q and the Deep Six. We will be coming with a new website in September 2007, which is why this one is not getting updated as often as usual.
Further we have some more people in the group. The official anouncements will come in September with the pressing of our latest musical works, so until then seeing is believing.. See you in potsdam!!!

Due to a virus, Ollie Q is not going to make it to the planned show in Dordrecht tonight  , Though we tried all rapid healing methods: chicken noodle soup, orange juice , pain killers etc.. We have decided to help contain the spread of this bug and prevent a major outbreak by quarantining the sick members until they are healthy again.
So i must say if you were going to the show to see Ollie Q, go ahead and go anyways as it should be a fun show.
Hopeful we will be back on track asap.

Hi there folks!
So far 2007 has been a good start for us ollies.
A more-then-just-nice kick-off gig in Cafe Vagebond, right here in our hometown Rotterdam, has shown us again that our recipe of good old ska with a broad variety of other musical flavours is still evolving.
New ideas, new songs ok, but what about that CD we should have finished some time ago? Well, it just might be that we are really close to the stage that we can start mastering the final mixes of the almost 20 songs we picked for this album.
so who knows…

Well the new year is coming, and Ollie Q has an album for you. Hopefully we will produce two this year, as we have learned so much on the last. Let see anything interesting, well I scored a 212 in Wii bowling the other night. Tonight we will be doing some more recording with the group, and preparing ourselves for our gig here in rotterdam on the 7th in cafe vagebond, be there or be square.

Well you see our schedule is pretty empty for this month of July. Some of us are on vacation with the family, others are busy still mixing the CD. We are really hoping to have the cd complete and pressed in August.
